Solar Inverter

Solar inverters, also called grid-tied inverters, convert the direct current (DC) electricity produced by your solar PV panels to alternating current (AC) electricity that can be used in your home and exported back to the grid. Solar invertors also ensure compliance with regulations about feeding electricity into the grid, or sold to the local power company. Installing the inverter consists of mounting it to the wall and connecting the DC input to a PV array and the AC output to the utility.
